Breaking Ground

Pictures of our lot after the first and second day of site work to level out spots for the two foundations.  The contractors broke ground March 30th.

March 31st is below. Skye and I went over together to check it out

About Me

We Are Here
“Are we there yet?” is a question we hear frequently from our girls whenever we are headed somewhere. Our favorite response is, “We are here!” It’s always a correct answer, and we use it to remind the girls and ourselves that though we may eagerly await a destination, wherever we are in location, time and along our life paths is also a fine place to be. We are a dad, a mom, and four sisters (aged 9 years, 7 years, 4 years and 2 years at the start of our trip) on leave for a year from our normal lives in Hawaii. Our journey has been a combination of road tripping and camping across the U.S., living on C. Spirit, a 32-foot sailboat that we took down the east coast's intracoastal waterway and to the Bahamas, and visiting beautiful Tunisia. Being here is a wonderful thing.
